Back in the states. Currently processing. Will be back with my thoughts in the near future. Until then, it's wedding season is nearly here! Things are about to get really fun!
Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm heading Nepal very, VERY soon! I will be out of the studio from March 4-28th styling and designing flowers for The Beyond Workshop! I'm so excited, anxious, nervous, and READY to go! If you've ever been to Nepal and have any advice for the trip, I'd love to hear it!
Can't wait to come home and share my experience!
Alexandra & Isaac. I LOVE THESE TWO. I love her love of Dr. Pepper and candy. I LOVE how they met. I love their sweet families. I loved being a part of their wedding.
Alexandra and Isaac met while she was a ballerina at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet. She received a scholarship and as part of the deal she was put up in one of the school's board member's homes. Little did she know, Isaac would be the son of that member. MEANT. TO. BE.
Alexandra wanted her wedding to be romantic, magical, personal, and southern. We used love quotes Isaac had given to her throughout the wedding stationary- as the invitation envelope liner, on the escort cards, and even one on the wedding itinerary which every guest received in the mail when they RSVP'd.
One of my favorite things about this gal is she never came to a meeting without sipping on a Dr. Pepper in a can with a straw or a bag of candy in her purse. I made sure both were readily available for her on the wedding day with the candy bar being a highlight detail. Yes, I know, candy bars have become quite a trend, but is a trend if the bride legitimately eats it all day long? No, I think that's called personality. And she has a really great one!

I was once taught to title my blog posts and pictures the way a bride may google wedding inspiration. I like using words like romantic, colorful, fun, or eclectic because those are the types of brides I want to find me via the internets. But this time, I decided to use a keyword many brides spend months and months stressing over- RAIN. This wedding is SUCH an ideal example of how beautiful a rainy day wedding can be- I mean, look at these portraits!! Siera & Jarod are a gorgeous couple with incredibly genuine personalities. They didn't let the rain ruin the day and with the help of their team of vendors, we embraced it! Take a minute to watch their Super 8 wedding film and then scroll through their photos, both by Whitney Neal, and and you'll see what I mean!
Huge thanks to their planner Grace of Grace Elizabeth Events for being an awesome teammate.
