It's always been clear to me that personal style is a visual description of your personality. It's important to me for your wedding show that and Ashley & Phillip's could not be a more perfect example. To say it was a union of styles couldn't be more accurate. Ashley & Phillip wanted the wedding to be full of things they loved- family, friends, beauty, good music, good food and good coffee.
The wedding was held at the event space down the hall from our studio- The Barrel Room at The Pointe! It's a cool industrial space and a very blank canvas-lots of windows and white walls. Ashley loved the idea of carrying a huge bouquet like they use to in the old black and white early 1900's wedding photos. I was more than excited to make it! The flower girl wore a flower crown/train that trailed behind her as she walked down the aisle! We also made a cool backdrop- or as I like to call it, Ashley's 'brain child'- a kaleidoscope of flowers. Huge props to my talented assistant Carson for carrying it through! Also, thanks must go out to my other helpers Lauren, Alex, Michelle my mom, and my Chris for helping make it all happen!
I got to be a guest at this wedding too! It was a fun one! Thank you to Kate & Lang for sharing these images with me! And to all of the rest of the vendors for making it a success!
