Friends, for those of you who have heard me talk about 'Pikeville' for the past year and a half, you can FINALLY see it for your own eyes! Check it out in the current issue of Southern Weddings Magazine available at Target, Barnes & Noble, Walgreens and other fine stores! To give you a run down, Anne Sydney and Jesse were high school sweethearts getting married in their hometown in Eastern Kentucky, on a mountain top over looking the town with 400+ guests with no electric or running water. I love a good challenge and figuring out how to pull this one off was one of my greatest yet! Without the support of their amazing family (#1 mom Cathy!) and my incredible team, we could have never pulled this off. I don't think I could EVER describe how grateful I am for being a part of this wedding!! Love you Franciscos!!!
Below are just a few of my favorite images Melanie Mauer captured the day of the wedding. Do you see that aerial shot of the tent? Yea, she went up in a helicopter to get that! I was just so in awe of all the talented people who came on board. Rachel Fisher's calligraphy always wows me, but this time especially. She even came to the wedding to be a day of assistant!! And Hound Dog Press cranked out some of the most beautiful letter press I've ever seen. The rest of my team, Mom, Chris, Michelle, Amanda (Mark & Anastasia for watching the girls!) and Natalie, you all were absolute rockstars! :)
A full post to come soon! Thank you Whitney for grabbing these shots of the mag for me! A huge thank must also go out to the rest of the amazing vendors who made the day a success- Weekend Wedding Warrior, Martine's Pastries, Apiary Fine Catering, Camargo Events, Blueberry Creative, Ana Crane, The Jump Street Band, Coaltown Dixie and so many more!!
