Following my intuition on what’s next…

You may or may not have noticed yet today that my season with Journey + Jacobs has come to an end.. Over the last four years, after growing so incredibly fast and exploring all the possibilities of our combined talents, we are ending our partnership. My biggest hope for everyone in this world is to do what they truly love, something we all can veer off from occasionally. Amanda is continuing on with the design business, rebranded and as her own and I am diving deeper into my real love of hospitality continuing on with shopPAIRE and stayatPAIRE coming soon.

As I had hoped and told so many people when I closed Jaclyn Journey Weddings. I believe I was meant to spend this time exploring the world of interior design to expand my mind into the possibilities of what could be. My desire to care for people through design lead me to fully understanding the concept of hospitality which is just engrained within me. I now have the opportunity to take this and turn it into the thing that has been rolling around in my head for the last year.

For now shopPAIRE and stayatPAIRE remain as they are and we are prepping for a fun and beautiful holiday season - and yes, wreath gatherings are happening! I can dive back into weddings on my own terms in a post Covid industry and eventually carry out my dream of designing the spa/retreat/bath house concept that I’ve been dreaming of since I was 15.

This period of my life, as predicted by an intuitive back in April by suggesting ‘the energy will soften come fall, ended exactly (but unintentionally…) on the Autumnal Equinox and the new one will begin in March on the Spring Equinox- everything will begin again, fresh and new. You know I’m not fearful of a pivot Stay tuned.
