Introducing one of the projects we're most proud of - Nouvelle Bar & Bottle . We had actually been working on Lauren & Scott's historic home for the last year when they asked us to update their wine bar, Nouvelle. As Scott put it, they were wanting to revamp their space as a way to "give back to the community who’s received them so well."⁣

This 3-month project centered around bold choices and trust, the recipe for amazing team collaboration. They wanted it to feel like a Parisian wine bar - something modern but French for it to feel masculine and feminine at the same time. We felt that there was nothing like this concept or aesthetic in Louisville. ⁣

The blue was inspired by a front door on a building in Paris, something we carried out through the entire space. European-inspired wallpaper and modern art were selected to achieve the masculine/feminine aesthetic. There's just so much to love about this project, guys!⁣

Because the clients were involved throughout the decision making process and trusted us to make the bold choices needed to achieve their desired look, it made the revamp smooth, fun and something we're proud to say is a #JourneyandJacobs project! ⁣
