A Modern, Feminine Wedding at Kentucky’s Shaker Village 

When you work in the wedding industry, like T+N do as owners of Lovely Bride in Dallas, there aren’t many trends you haven’t seen. That’s why they wanted to create a destination wedding weekend that focused on creating a classic, timeless experience for their guests.

The couple invited their guests to her home state of Kentucky, for their wedding at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, a 3,000 acre Shaker community where you can enjoy traditional Shaker experiences, explore the outdoors or relax in historic private cottages.

The morning of the wedding the group of 80 enjoyed a cruise down the Kentucky River for breakfast.  They regrouped before heading to the festivities, which were designed to combine modern, feminine, minimalist and rustic touches.
