An Artful, Family Centered Kentucky Farm Wedding

By interweaving art, hospitality, and family this wedding was personal and memorable from start to finish. The bride, an artist, hand drew all the art for every piece of stationery, a personal touch that was noticed and appreciated by all guests. The colors and design were warm, bright, organic, specific, feminine and lush. Each detail was thought through with an artful touch.

On the wedding day, guests arrived at Ashbourne Farms, were handed a cocktail and sat under the ceremony tent which looked out towards the rolling Kentucky Hills. The bride and groom said their vows and performed a foot washing ceremony in the 'ceremony garden' which was an installation of colors and blooms inspired by the bride's artistic gift.

After the ceremony, guests entered the rustic and beautifully designed Show Barn for curated dinner, a meal with much of its produce grown on the farm. Following the meal, the groom kicked off the party by singing the first dance song to his bride, a surprise to all! Upon exiting, guests took a bottle of bourbon as their favor after signing the barrel from which it came, a personal memento for the bride and groom to remember the event by.
